Escapes by Cindy sells digital itinerary PDFs. This notice covers purchases through Payhip and any email you send us about an order.
What we collect
When you buy a guide, Payhip collects the email address and payment details needed to take payment and deliver the file. We see your name and email on the order. We do not see your full card number. Payments are handled by Payhip and PayPal. Stripe may be added later.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence long enough to help you.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for phone numbers, passport details, or trip dates in order to sell a PDF. We do not run advertising pixels on the Payhip checkout — that checkout is Payhip’s page.
Why
We use your email to send the download link, receipts, and — if you opted in — notices when a guide you bought is updated. We use order records to handle refunds, download resets, and accounting.
Who else sees it
Payhip and PayPal process the sale. We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to hotels, tourism boards, or sponsors. We do not run a separate marketing list. Each of those tools is a processor with its own policy.
How long
We keep order records as long as we need them for tax, refunds, and the 12-month update promise, then as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@escapesbycindy.com. Payhip also lets you manage download access from your purchase email. Marketing from Payhip’s EU checkbox is optional; unticking it may mean we cannot email you a new download link from Payhip (we will still try to help if you write to us).
Overseas
Payhip and its processors may store data outside Australia. If you are in the EU or UK, Payhip handles digital VAT on those sales and shows an updates opt-in at checkout.
